Brief definition
Living area under WoFlV is derived from usable floor area, with defined deductions (e.g. certain ancillary areas, basements, sloping ceilings below minimum height).
Distinction from BGF and NRF
- BGF: Gross, incl. bounding components
- NRF: Usable floor area per WoFlV parts
- Living area: Specific metric for residential use (rent, subsidies, market comparison)
AIGO relevance
AIGO supplies room-wise areas from floor plans as an auditable basis. Norm-compliant living-area logic (deductions, attic slope, basement) requires rule application, supported by deterministic geometry and WoFlV context.
